Features are good. Personally I believe, all a dj needs to make a fair enough set is a cue button, a play button, a pitch control and maybe a loop in/loop out/reloop but these duals offer much more, including scratching, 5 controllable effects, +/- 4%/12%/24%/100% pitch control with master lock. 3 hot starts and FLY cue.

Price paid: 2000 Dirhams

Sound quality is OK, nothing GREAT! Compared to other models of pro cd players its not even close but compared to a normal household cd player its OK.

Very easy to figure out but the controls are too cramped on the surface.

Durability - Now THIS is where the gemini cfx-40's show their true colours. These were my first cd players so when i bought them, i was obviously THRILLED with the number of features and the cool looking blue display it had but after a few days i realised the response is a bit sluggish. After a few months to a year the buttons slowed down and sometimes if you press them, they'd simply DISOBEY you! This happened in the middle of sets while stuttering, etc and came to me as a HUGE embarassment. The left deck starts skipping after a while (only on the reloop button).

I dont love it very much to be honest! They were my first cd players but I started having affairs with other much hotter cd players like the Numark DCD Pro 1000s, Pioneer CDJ 1000s, etc.

Just to tell you that I do not know if you saw but the instructions for the device is registered verbatim:
"8. STOP: Enter the STOP button once to stop the CD, twice for the DISC TRAY ouvir, and a third time to close the tray"
so I think you can raise the rating of this beautiful platinum cd ... ;-)

Its not very long as I use them, but frankly it's a good deal, for which a budget restrint. Oibtion have with it, it's enough fun in the evening. Of course, it remains throughout the first prize, but it is good. I love to be on these platinum cd, it's the little blue lights when loading a CD. Prior to the, j (still had the model above, which was really basic. A remake that choice, I think I miserai above for what that something great for the big night. A defect report, it are a little long to load a CD.

Trs qualitprix good value. Of course, this price, do not ask too much. the three cue points are instant, there's nothing wrong, except that it happens, but rarely put the point a half / second admarrer. Otherwise, the effects are a little gadget if you possdez gnrateur a real effect, otherwise it is not too bad ...

The default trs large, especially do not press the Eject button in the middle of the CD playback, the player did not spit, but it stops playing!
