I have plates for 1 week. I complterai me later.
Good first contact, we feel that it is solid, it is the PIONEER.
the most:
- Size and low weight trs
- The effects Intgr
- USB output
- The potentiomtre to navigate through the tracks and folders
- The method and scratch vinyl
- The illumination of the jog dial (6 paramtres choice)
- The beat loop divide
- The choice of the image on the jog dial (your logo, photo of your children ...)
Cons:
- USB port not oprationnelle on DJS and TRAKTOR (forums everyone is looking for drivers, the official website dedicated to the CDJ400 is still under construction ... I'll let you judge) I cry PIONEER FRANCE ... no news.
- The quality of the scratch is (I got) a little worse than a CDJ800. A test you to make you your opinion.
Addition of the January 4
I'm "fun" program file tks TRAKTOR noon so that all the keys of the plate match those of the software. Not easy, especially for the rglage scratch. Some buttons have double functions on the CDJ400 (reloop / exit time or mode / auto cue, for example) it is impossible to reproduce with a MIDI controller. A odre for a button. No dual possible.
Otherwise, evening, with a cd timecode rendering is perfect but you lose the divide and effects loop (the PC does not understand the timecode when there is too triturated.
