I use it for about three years in a context of repetition but also some recordings at home in my small home studio.
the sound is very good with the hand or stick in DIFFERENT contexts (rock and acoustic in my case).
I use it in my set and off the set, so it is not only the fate percussionists in the strict sense.
the clip is reliable ... it does not move even if it hits hard.
Moreover, it is very resistant ... as usual for this brand.
I have not tried other models.
I bought 12 euros and therefore deems the report qualitprix very good.
with the experience, my choice would be the same!
