Howdy,

This seems like it should be possible but as the topic says...I have no idea how to do it.

What i want to do is route the audio from one app...say winamp or vlc to the headphone jack so it can be played through the TV or stereo or desktop computer speakers....while simultaneously routing the audio from another app, say firefox, to my laptop speakers.

Meaning.....i'd like to play music from my laptop (listening to it on my stereo), while watching a video on my laptop (and listening to it on my laptop). This would also get rid of that annoying...super bassy explosion of noise that happens whenever you're listening to music through your stereo and someone signs into messenger....

So if anyone knows about a crafty software solution that routes only a single app to your headphone jack.....i would really appreciate some help.
