I AM OBVIOUSLY A NEW MEMBER, BECAUSE IF I WEREN'T I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS CRAPPY GAMERZ CARD TO RUN MY HOME STUDIO. THANKS TO THE WONDERFULL WORLD OF EBAY, I HAVE EMBARASSINGLY LEARNED THAT I CAN SPEND A CRAPLOAD OF MONEY ON EVERYTHING FROM SOUND CARDS TO PROCESSORS TO KEYBORDS, AND STILL NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK TO DO WITH IT ALL. IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER WHEN I JUST USED TO PLAY ACOUSTIC GUITAR BY A CAMPFIRE.
IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE WHINING, IT KINDA IS. THESE SOUND CARDS HAVE COST ME A FORTUNE. I WISH I DID NOT LIVE IN A SMALL CANADIAN TOWN, THEN AT LEAST I COULD HAVE SOUGHT PROFESSIONAL HELP FROM AN ACTUAL MUSIC STORE. NONE THE LESS, I STILL BOUGHT THIS AUDIGY2 CARD BECAUSE THIS PIMPLY DOOD AT A COMPUTER STORE TOLD ME HOW SWEET IT WAS. I GOT IT. HOOKED IT UP AND IT WORKED. I WAS HAPPY TO GET GUITAR SOUNDS OUT OF MY COMPUTER AND ASSUMED LIFE WAS GOOD.
THEN I TRIED RECORDING, FIRST TRACK AND ALL WAS GOOD, THEN AS MANY OF THE PRO'S ON THIS SITE WILL TELL YOU SECOND TRACK=1 SEC. DELAY. SO AFTER FINALLY PUTTING THE INTERNET(ALLBEIT DIAL-UP) TO GOOD USE IVE LEARNED OF THE M AUDIO CARD(s) I DONT WANT ANYTHING BY CREATIVE.BUT WICH ONE IS BEST FOR ME.
MY GEAR IS
-COMPAC PRESARIO
-WIN XP
-HOMESTUDIO 2004
-DIGITECH GNX2 PROCESSOR
-KORG N5 KEYBOARD
-ROLAND TD3 ELEC DRUMS
- VARIOUS AMPS, MICS, ETC
-OPL TUBE MIC PREAMP

I WOULD LIKE TO PLUG ALL THIS STUFF IN AND JUST RECORD MUSIC.
PLEASE HELP.
