 Just started using FL Studio Producer Edition, not exactly like setting up cabinets and monitors, lol. I'm enjoying being able to compose for instruments I dont actually PHYSICALLY know how to play, but I give it hell on piano roll, lol.
So this is a turning into a wonderful experience for me so far. Look forward to being part of the forum.

Only because I been playing for over 45 years now. I was on the road with Billy Joel for 10 years, and have been doing studio work and teaching since. I was formally trained in classical at Columbia School of music, then I joined up with Billys 2nd band the "Hassles" We faired well on the East coast, but the west coast was more into the beach boys. 8)

Snakeskin-

Check out a program called Jammer Pro or a program called Band In A Box. I prefer Jammer. Either one will help you generate midi backing tracks that you can then edit as needed.

Might give you a leg up on the instruments you don't play!! 8)
