Thread I need help with connecting Roland 2480 to Powerbook G4

Hey guys,

I'm brand new here. I'm also pretty new to home recording in general. I'm running Ableton Live 4 on my Powerbook G4 and I'm trying to expand my inputs for use during live performances. My thinking is that I could use the 16 inputs from my Roland 2480 and connect it to the Cardbus input of the computer (via the 2 R-BUS ports from the 2480). How do I connect the Cardbus to Roland's R-BUS outs? PCI Expansion?

Or maybe there is an easier way to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
