hey everybody,

i'm not really sure who reads these introduction posts.

well, i joined this forum because for years i've been using a kord d8 to record my rough draft songs and i love it! plug in and play. it's digital. sounds clean (even though the microphone input doesn't sound that great. no phantom power). BUT i hate that it can't output to a cd.

to solve this problem i decided to use my laptop as my main tool for recording. i have a dell laptop, mobile pre interface (by m-audio), audio technica cardoid microphone for my recording needs and i found out that I HATE RECORDING WITH A LAPTOP!! :mad: i'm a really really simple guy. i don't do well with the details. i just want it done. so you can imagine my frustration when trying to record with this. i'm using cakewalk sonar 6 and it's a pain in my butt. so hopefully this forum will help solve some of my problems
