Published on 09/10/13 at 15:13Guitar that I bought on a favorite, I had gone to buy a small amp and I am left with this guitar. 60th anniversary special edition, with the metal plaque on the back.
Guitar made in Mexico very good finishes. We can see irregularities veins ash in its very sexy Honey Blonde.
The special feature of this guitar is to have a microphone in the middle, more sounds telecaster, it can ogle the side sounds stratocatériennes provided also know how to use the tone knob correctly.
The pickups are Tex-Mex, I'll talk in his section.
5-way switch, strat type, with the same combinations.
The back of the handle has a color strip walnut on the length (I guess the truss rod is hidden below), a brief guitar as pretty to look back ...
UTILIZATION
The handle is a treat, varnished satin seems very pleasant to the touch, it does not catch and just slide it takes to remain accurate. I had tried other Tele once the handle seemed odd, very thick with a profile rather highlight that bothered me. This telecaster has a profile rather modern handle.
Question ergonomics is what a Tele! With its rustic side, the cut with a jigsaw (well it is a metaphor), its electronic configuration minimalist but highly effective and does not need to prove table is a Tele!
SOUNDS
It is carved in rock guitar, blues, Tex-Mex pickups crunchent perfectly. It also contains the twang so special on TV, when I made the generic James Bond, we believe it!
