Mexican Telecaster Deluxe
2 x Tex Mex Tele single coils
1 x Tex Mex Strat single coil
Volume and tone controls
Rosewood fingerboard
3-color sunburst
3-ply tortoise shell pickguard
Vintage
UTILIZATION
Some hands are made for Gibson and some others for Fender.
I play blues rock.
Typical Telecaster design: it's a simple wood plank... and I love it!
The Tele/Strat pickup mix is nice.
SOUNDS
Generally speaking, Fender guitars are good for blues rock, and you'll only need your amp to fine tune your sound.
I played this guitar with a Shwoman (very good), Classic 50 (too loud and too much mids), Pro Junior (hmmm, not so good), Deville (yeah!), Deluxe 65 (really wow!), Tinny Terror (very rocky).
The Tinny provides no setting possibilities so it's either you like it or not... I love it!
The sound possibilities range from quite clean crunch to pure British rock overdrive.
OVERALL OPINION
Since '98.
It looks vintage.
I tested other guitars: Washburn (2 humbuckers), Ibanez, Les Paul Studio, Strat Reissue 52, etc.
But it was love at first sight with this guitar. And its sound gets better as times goes by
Good value for money.
Yes, I would buy it again.
