« Fender Deluxe Nashville Tele »

I have a love for a lot of guitars and it was hard to choose which one but after endless research I went for the Fender Deluxe Nashville Tele because I have always liked the Tele shape and this one had power. I bought this guitar from musiciansfriend.com which it really was a good deal of course for 459.99.

I definitely like the look of it, black body, reddish shell pickguard, and maple neck and fingerboard. It looks very angelic but when I plug it in, the tex mex pickups bring out a suprising heavy tone that reminds of a vintage gibson. Sounds weird but thats the sound I got out of my marshall.

Well I have had the guitar for about 2 months and the intonation is kind of bothering me. I'll tune it perfectly but in other areas of the fretboard notes sound like they are out of tune. I tried everything including a lot of adjusting and its still being a pain. Everything else is wonderfull except for the tuning.

It feels solid and well put together but the day I got from musiciansfriend I already had to adjust the truss rod which is a pretty bad sign. But everything else looks like it can definitely last.

If this guitar had a locking system and just a tad more sustain in its output then I wouldnt be thinking about trading it for a different guitar. If you get this guitar, just change the bridge saddles to Graphs strat style tele saddles for easier adjustments and longer string life.
