« Fender Nashville Telecaster »
Published on 05/19/02 at 15:00I bought this guitar because i love the look of the telecaster and i wanted a more beefy sound of which the tex mex pick ups offer. I bought it in Marcus Music Belfast. I got it for £559 which included a £200 fender hard case.
This guitar is awsome. The clean tones are amazin and when a bit of crunch is needed it can certainly deliver. It looks gorgeous with a tortoise shell scratch plate and a candy apple body. This guitar is so versatile all types of music are suiatble to be played on it. Since i bought it the tuning has been superb and have very little ptoblems concerning that area.
What i don't like? I there was one downside about the guitar i would have to say that it is the fact it doesn't have a vibrato bridge. But it really isnt a major problem.
Its well made as you would expect from fender due to the workmanship gone in to it. I reckon in ten years time the guitar will not have changed much, though it isn't a very heavy guitar when you old it you know its a sturdy piece of work.
If you want a tele and want to be a bit different and want a guitar with a bit of crunch then this is the one to choose. If you play assorted types of music like myself then this is the ideal choice.
