It is the first relic fender made in mexico. Caratérisques for the Fender site is very well done, but it's a '66 telecaster therefore nothing new. It exists only in Rosewood Custom Road Worn and FINISHING. The aim was to reproduce the first Joe Strummer Telecaster, a '66 sunburst tele was originally painted and then coarsely bomb. I am fortunate to own one of the 1500 first model that is to say with the custom kit. Being a fan of The Clash I can only appreciate but it is a totally subjective opinion.
UTILIZATION
This guitar is very fun to play. appearance relic of the handle does not interfere with the instrument's finish is superb nothing short wobbly nothing wrong. SOUNDS
I use a Marshall AVT 100 Tribute. I find it seriously SPECIAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a very versatile tele (well do not count with the metal but of course) The sound is very creamy hot with plenty of roundness, it is not aggressive side of the other tele in the bridge position but astonishment fishing for a telecaster I think. It fills me with both rockabilly than punk. All styles can be addressed without any problem with this tv. (Aside the metal recess) With distortion, the sound is very nice, it has nothing do with my other telecaster of 63 'acute and severe. But at the same time, the Twang is also somewhat less pronounced. A very good guitar.
I put 9 because perfection does not exist.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought one years ago and without any hesitation I would do this choice !!!!!!!!!!! we must understand that I is not a signature "scam" as many fender signature, you do not buy the look, sound is amazing!!
