Fender Custom Shop '64 Relic Telecaster

The catalog of Fender Custom Shop offers this guitar for 01/2009.
Made in a limited edition (150 per year), only 50 are produced in 3-color Sunburst tones. By far the most beautiful color!
The other 2 colors are black and white ... A bit bland for a Telecaster!
The color is called "Chocolate" because the edges of the guitar are dark brown instead of the traditional black.
The body is ash "selected" the maple neck and fingerboard in guinea rosewood.
This is a typical C handle the mid 60s.

USE

Handle very pleasant, characteristic of the mid 60s Perfect for blues and rock!
The sound is brilliant and powerful, nothing to do with the muffled sound of a Tele 52 I owned elsewhere.
At the top with a slight saturation, it plays all the Rolling Stones hits and those of Muddy Waters!

SOUNDS

I play on a Mesa Boogie Lonestar, it excels with its slightly saturated.
the sound is powerful and brilliant.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for 1 1/2 years but I play too infrequently.
A reference Telecaster with reference year (I was born in 64!), To recommend to all guitar players who like the sound of the '60s Tele.
