Made in USA, all acastillage and electronics typical of a Telecaster, 1 volume and 1 tone, 1 3-position switch, no frills what!
The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets.
Weight: 4.3 kgs.
Handle very nice, or too thin or too fat, a treat to put his fingers on it! Ideal for rock and blues.
Access to acute is obviously not a SG or The fly but it still remains playable without worries.
The body shape is comfortable despite the absence of edges and chamfer both sitting and standing, despite the heavy weight (without an "anvil" kind Les Paul!).
For sound, see below ...
For ... impossible not to have a good sound immediately. For Blues, Rock or Jazz, this guitar sounds.
Tested on my Pod 2, a Fender Pro Junior (all lamps) on a Vox AD30VT or Studiotone head Koch, this guitar is a killer!
3 micro combinations are usable but my preference is still on the neck pickup, what's, what potato, the whole game goes smoothly, shades or "guts", it sounds terrible.
Nearly 10 years together, I never get tired of playing with. It was and still is a guitar "roots", a "master standard" in some way, it is with her that I was testing and testing again sometimes amps because although it sounds on anything (or almost!) She does not forgive the shortcomings of guitarist and / or amp ...
I was offered it but anyway I would have bought.
Pearl white color now leaning towards the Vintage white slightly yellowed, great, I put it on a plate "tortoise" brown instead of "Tortoise" original white that will certainly please!
The price / quality ratio is excellent, better than Fender for less ...
Upd 05/2007: sound here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1ml0jGhRq4).
Mine has manufactured custom t spcial SPECIFICATIONS according to my G & L custom shop in the U.S..
Body frne Marsh, 3 tone sunburst finish, 2 pickups single by G & L
Saddle sleeve with rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets
Channel super comfortable, not very large, medium pais
Accs for acute ais Plutt good ergonomics.
Plutt comfortable playing guitar (not too heavy), it is a pleasure to play.
- Do you get easily a good sound ...?
Yes whatever the position of a micro ring ...
It's perfect my style up, rather rock and blues. The guitar is very sensitive, that is - that all the little subtleties of play will agree, as most rolls elsewhere ...
For now I do not play that on my multi effects Boss DR 880 BAR, and DJ sounds.
Whether its crystal clear type arpges up, rather twangy jazz, spent nickel.
For distortion, the pickups are simple, but frankly gave, from blues to mtal not too heavy, obviously passing through rock. Tone and volume knobs are very sensitive and quite DIFFERENT DIFFERENT mic positions.
As gromeul, special mention for micro serious frankly hard though. In contrast to the sharp microwave seems almost feeble
Prfrs sounds: his dirty microwave serious distortion, clear sound and jazzy in serious tjs
I REU guitar yesterday! but I was stuck for a moment above APRS ...
I love the versatility of the guitar (even if the database I had not bought for a) and its character. It sounds in many styles but with his personality. It is a guitar with a warm sonority Plutt even aggressive.
What I like least: may be the relative lack of potato micro acute (but still relative vrifier on a good amp). The grain of this microphone is excellent nonetheless.
I tried lots of guitars (mostly Fender Telecaster) before I lay down on it. But Fender did not produce the exact MODEL I wanted, at least not in series (there is indeed the Fender custom shop but 2x more expensive ...)
Report qualitprix excellent (1400euros pay all included), I find much to multimdia DIFFERENT teles that I had the opportunity to try (and god knows I tried) especially in comparison with telecaster american standard telecaster american deluxe. And this, either finish, but especially in sound and playability
- With the exprience, you do again this election? ...
I do not have much recoil, but for now YES !!!!!!!
