Yamaha introduced at NAMM a kit that allows drummer to transform their acoustic kit into and electronic one.
The Yamaha DTX500 Trigger kit includes the DTX500 sound module with more than 400 drum sounds, 19 reverb types and a 2-band EQ; one CSAT924A multiclamp and five DT-20 sensors. These sensors will be placed on the drumhead or shell and will send a trigger signal to the sound module.
