Published on 09/14/09 at 06:20I make it short. Amp excellent. The sound warmer than the twin blues. Good sustain and natural crunch mid power (check 470 ohms between plates and screens). Ampeg original features, some of which are impractical or technically not really easy to find (or phase shifter capacitors 7199 multifunction lamp ...) Easily repairable, though for a technician. Two HP 12 "CTS brand as the twin. 50 watt output through 2 x 6L6GC. Argus 1000 euro seems okay to me compared to other amps being understood that the GV 22 is vintage late 60s well placed to play of Clapton, dire straits ... what style!
