UTILIZATION
The configuration is simple?
Yes, configuration is simple, but it will take 5 minutes to look over the settings. We will return later.
The manual is clear and sufficient?
Honestly I did not even take the time to read it so I was eager to try it when I received it and since he sleeps in his box ...
Do you get a good sound easy?
I want to say YES, since it has a good basic sound!
But it will make adjustments if your guitar is very distinctive, for example with a SG which tends to have lots of treble and midrange frequencies it will balance these and play on presence.
Another important point, if you play at a very low volume and you want a good crunch you turn the GAIN and the bottom VOLUME 1 is not it?
You will have good sound without being hyper horny either.
But I would say that to have a good overview of this amp has reasonable volume, you put in 15W, turn the GAIN has 7 or 8 / 10, and volume 2, 2.5/10, and you start to have a p. .. ain dynamics and heat ...
If you are detached you can further increase the volume, but if you're in an apartment like me, is that it should be recent and well-insulated ...
SOUNDS
It fit your style of music?
Yes, I play a lot of ACDC, hard rock / vintage rock, and blues.
It is perfect for those styles.
To have a big lead at the Guns N'Roses or metal, pedal required.
What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "fat ",....)?
Crystal clear, and Marshall crunch!
With what (s) guitar (s) / low (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play it with an SG Standard, suddenly I can have a sound palette that ranges from a very sharp crunch sounds a bit fatter.
OVERALL OPINION
For how long have you been using it?
I've had two weeks
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
Yes, I was looking for a 5W lamp for flat-sounding vintage Marshall and tried the Class5 the Cub12 the AC4 ...
This one I bought without trying it on the internet DESPITE its 15W
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ..
Value for money super
If it were to do again I think I took a much less powerful model, because even 15W in the apartment with a master hard severe ca ...
I might be taken into consideration the fact that Blackstar HT5 unanimously and 10W less power especially! Marshall
