UTILIZATION
Configuration simple.c hyper 'is a very versatile amp with great power and a super-dropping that one gets very easily.
SOUNDS
The clean channel is awesome, one of the best clean channel I've ever heard.
Both with a Les Paul, a Stratocaster or a Telecaster
The channel distortion reminds me of the old Marshall JCM800 in terms of gain. The amp just sings. The distortion is tight and very transparent. If you change guitars or microphones and you can clearly hear the difference is the sign of a good quality amp it does not waste his natural guitar. Even on a very high gain with complex arrangements you'll hear every note. It is a very very good amp comparable to or ENGL MesaBoogie!
OVERALL OPINION
This is my first real amp purchased in 1995
I've played on a Twin Reverb, JCM 800, Vox AC30, Fender bluesdeville, princeton reverb, Koch studiotone, ENGL Thunder 50, Mesa Boogie, Crate V30, Carvin X60. The Carvin Valve Master is a very good compromise of all these amps, compact amplifier is a high quality, I also have a Carvin X60. I love this brand of amp that is a mix of Fender for his clear and MesaBoogie for distortion. The value is more than excellent for an amp as good as this one. Certainly one of the best combo on the market!
