CORNFORD ROADHOUSE - hand built British amp 2xEL34 3x12AX7 30w 1x12 V30 speaker - gives Marshall/VOX classic 60s tones+ modern idiom.
The Combo cabinet is expansive with the ability to tandem other cabs in addition to the main speaker. So I run into an additional V30 cab for a 2x12 config. which spreads the sound nicely.
Is a very obedient and tamable amp for such an amount of gain available with its master vol and gain equipped class A design. No hiss or pops either and the dials have instant and nicely tapered operation - so unlike those unruly drive chn Fenders!
The clean is a little dark as the amp is voiced for drive and then you are glad of that shade, !HOWEVER! running two cabs and the addition of my magic PROEL DS10 pedal, I get all that Keith Richards Fender Tweed Twin tone when plugged in with a Tele.
But it is for those vintage Marshall EL34 tones that I go to this amp for, armed with a Les Paul and the EHX East River Drive and can enjoy some great British classic Rock riffs - you know, the ones that made you mad for guitar in the first place aged 14 !
