UTILIZATION

Its small footprint and low weight for a 30w lamp combo make this an ideal tool for rehearsals and small scenes. Usable apartment if we tolerate a bland sound at low volume but it is not his place.

The speaker is overprotected by a solid but sound metal grid.

The buttons are very legible.
The switches are inaccessible stuck between the buttons
The lead orders are confused, just left to Lead Drive and right to Lead Volume switch and clean - lead.

Rear: extensive but antiquated connections. Why was the same type of jack for connecting a guitar line sound system and a speaker? Except for vintage.

Engl cranksets are also expensive than solid: 80 € for the Z4 but can be replaced with standard switches with dry contact for 20 €.
Note, pedal control: Master Volume Boost which increases the overall volume of a half scale.

English manual (in Italian found on the net) but not necessary.

SOUNDS

Godin Solidac (solidbody piezo + MSM). The challenge in the clear.
- Clear sound: Nice surprise on the clean channel is nice and clean. Dynamics is restored. Volume difficult to resolve. The Input Gain control is very sensitive to retain a clear sound without Crunch especially with the piezo.
- In his Crunch (same channel, control gain boost and mid boost), it is a treat. Its hot for blues. Mid boost the high frequencies which falls medium is a bit aggressive.
- In lead (the second channel - clean / lead switch) ideal for rock and enough for hard rock.
The separate channel volume is practical and easy to adjust.
Little breath volume to max and distos thoroughly, still a nice surprise.

PRS SE Soapbar II - 2 PRS P90
In clean: respected, good amplitude.
Crunch: saturation more difficult to achieve, the P90 are wonderful and are very expressive.
Lead: very linear, no dynamics.

Reverberation is below all for an amp of this price. It produces a "sewer line" rather than room or hall: terrible. Pedal binding.

Presence would have been welcome.

OVERALL OPINION

After 4 months of regular use:
Suitable for a wide range of games from blues to funk, rock and hard rock.
The indisputable advantage is its small size for convenient power and accurate sound reproduction of the guitar.
Its low weight is a good argument despite transformers sized as accurately and material means chassis.

Value for money for a proper made in Germany to confirm time.
This is especially the power to weight ratio that would make me repeat this choice because not very common on the market.

The sound for the price of the amp is great, you can play everything with this amp. Playing with the input gain knob you change the grain of the amp. Stronger it is clear channel will crunch and therefore the modern lead.
This amp and very changeable depending on the settings, you can be very disappointed if one knob is turned ... It requires a certain mastery.
This gives a very good sound a little research.

SOUNDS

It suits my style of music (blues, rock, hard rock, heavy).
As mentioned above through the input gain knob can change the character of the amp, however the back of the coin is that the volume changes too much and it is not easy to achieve a balance between the two channels .

With its sg sending with a cort rise emg sending it (I rediscovered with this amp). It meets many guitars and play A warm, sometimes too much, I say "dark". I think this is due to the power, the sound should open with the master but it hurts my ears ... 2

Channel 1 can go from a clear to a crunch (which I prefer)
The crunch, a little research, is magnificent. Parcontre lead the way is admittedly ... because too compressed and indented but ok if you play primarily on a crunch (channel 1) properly adjusted. The volume of this channel is too low, I have to put it back and start the gain boost when I go solo. A volume pedal-type Fv 500 is necessary for me who has not yet mastered the beast.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had less than me, I will update in some time with more experience.

I tried a lot of stuff in the store at the last moment I jumped on it

- The versatile side
- Footswitch (sold but not great costal)
- Grain (which can sculpt)
- The power (even too strong)
- The weight
The -:
- Amp is light, good for the back but it's a little cheap
- The reverb
- The effects loop (accentuates the reverb: it can quickly become dmg .....)
- Components (the transformer are very small, must make their evidence with time ...)
- The volume of the lead channel (I thoroughly)

the price / quality ratio is good, the sound is great, I am wary of the quality yet. To see the time, I'm still very satisfied.
