I bought this amp in 1996 while I venai buy a stratovolcano, I didn 't need to amp but I cracked up!!
In the time I paid € 440 nine, he enjoyed an excellent value for money, that is unfortunately less the case today.
Mine is cotton tweed with a leather handle, it is superbe.15 watts delivered by 2 EL 84 & March 12 AX7 preamp. 1 1 1 master volume treble bass 1 1 medium 1 & 1 switch reverb fat that always leave started (in my opinion).
UTILIZATION
The operation is disconcerting ease in the limited settings. The effectiveness of the 3 tone controls is réduite.Le sound is shaped with the master volume & legain, sounds ranging from light to saturated through the sounds crunchs.Les saturated ring has the AC / DC with a Gibson.
SOUNDS
The sounds are very interesting, very musical, for cons should not be afraid to open generously to the volume that the amp "breathes." As its name suggests the sound produced sounds bluesy.
The sound of this amp is very typical Blues n 'hoped to play other styles settings with a minimum of efficiency.
OVERALL OPINION
I does not use this amp on stage because it is not comprehensive enough for that, but given the price that is normal. If you play blues and this amp will delight you the power of 15 watts is enough for bars & the CIF-CONC.
The quality / price was excellent at the time, now it is too expensive in my avis.Moi I am very happy to have him to enter the horse among friends, he is not heavy and I'm about to get sound, that me has happened to land with this little amp in the arm for a nice little party, at the beginning you look a little sideways and laughing at the end of the evening you are asked or you the you buy.
A tip: connect a 2x12 Marshall cabinet in place of HP original sound takes the scale and you can play does matter where there is always enough power.
