So to use that I wanted to do, namely, registration (but fun to play too) it''s not good, push the knob more than half for the signal to noise ratio is mdiocre. Can not play with your fingers. This amp makes more noise than my old GEM 15 watts (1969 or 1970). In fact it's cheap, it's made in China, and it is not reliable. I have returned.

    OVERALL OPINION

I therefore CHARACTERISTICS of this amp but not the finishes that are at least a random image on the other amp.
Under these conditions the ratio quality price is not NEWS.
No I will not repeat that choice and instead point me to a head piphone (made in china too) that users do not DCEL of pb appears.

Modified: I finally opt for the epiphone valve junior head and I do not regret it, much more reliable and pchu, but a little less warm.

    SOUNDS

Its very retro with a nice saturation. There is a lack of regularity in the manufacture; Some hum an aggressive, others have lamps that congnent. Some vibrate ... Not obvious at first. Once the lights changed and the HP, it sounds exellent. Boutique Quality!

This is the amp to have a Strat. It has a beautiful clean and a crunch typical Fender! If you want more, there is some modification of electronics that can give even more gain, I'll let you look ...

    OVERALL OPINION

I have now been 4 months and I do not intend to abandon me. The amp is perfect for the apartment. It will never replace my Mesa but it is not his role either. It is dynamic, cool and warm. It is now my best friend. J, I tried many amps in my life and in terms of amps apart, is clearly the best I've tried. I warn you against by that I have changed a lot, it does not compare to the model stock.

Here are the mods of my little Champion:

    Old-Tube Mullard 12AX7 (original 60s)
    Tube-tube 6V6ES JJ
    Weber SIG-Speaker 6 "Ceramic
    -Changed R19 to 30K
    C1-Changed 500pF/500V
    Kidnapped-R7 (2.2K)

With these mods, this baby is a blast from hell!

    Rock on!!

When we see, there is little, like oh, it is choupinou the mini amp, what's rotten is he going to get us out? Well not at all, a lot of presence, many safe, it has a particular timbre certainly in its design. It not replace a Princeton or any other ("real") Fender, but it is surprising that quality in a small (and pretty!) Box. However, it is (of course) love the Fender sound.

    OVERALL OPINION

Used for over a year, I keep it for life. It's been years since I was looking for a tube amp, very small, not too expensive, simple, and voila! All trademarks fun to produce ...
Level look, the top, as long as we like retro, I like making "HP external", located inside the unit, which is connected to the small HP Fender, not practical at all (just an extension to tinker) but in principle, I love it!
Excellent value for money in my opinion, it is not stolen, but everyone sees noon at his door, poour cheaper, there are small marshall transistor, more modern, comprehensive, very nice too, but it is not same class ...
I would much rather this choice twice a day, why not use two pedals equipped with a stereo output? Ok, I exaggerate a little, but ...

The lamps give a warm, alive and changing all the shots mdiator (all errors as well). The sensation is enjoyable trs (not for error but it would be wrong to blame the amp).

    OVERALL OPINION

Reu 1 week ago I was captivated by the sound, cot rtro and simplicity. I used an Ibanez TS pedals OD / 9 for a great report.
It would gain power switch offer.
the ratio q / p is INESPRE prs that this comes from China ... I would have put 60 more badges to view Mex.
If I redo the choice ... so for sound. However, I would see just before the amp o Competition (vox).
I just sold a small voxDA5 (transistor / modlisation / effects) and I think the fender bcp simple and usable, providing a cleaner and more sensitive. A must!

    SOUNDS

I'm a little surprised to read advice on "sound" of this amp as if it were a Twin Reverb ten times more expensive. Back to earth: it costs 100 euros, used nine 140 euros is the price of a good pedal! It is also slightly more expensive or same price as a modeling amp all ugly and where there are tons of effects that not sound.

    It sounds, this is requested.

Well, notice the sound all the same: with my Danelectro baritone, it complies with the grave, which was not easy given the small size of HP - is the lipstick to micro? Against by several guitars humbuckers that I tested, it is too tight in the bass and it's just "saturate" the HP and often causes noise in the case of the amp. One of the posters here believe that he has rediscovered his telecaster with, I think that's the kind of guitar with which you have to play on this amp. In addition, imagine a Danelectro Silvertone with spring reverb Danelectro going well connected to this amp ... too vintage, your sound.

My only regret is that it is too powerful. Sound, spent half or three quarters of the volume is too loud for use in apartments. the crunch of the lamps, although we do take advantage when we play too loud for the neighbors, that's a shame. You can always add a digital effect or a multi overdrive for the saturation of the best of both worlds, says.

The noise I was talking about, precisely, are often the sound parts of the amp, like the cache lamps, and are fairly easy to identify and correct with the fingers and a screwdriver. Just be allowed to blunder out capacitors, before, or you'll look like Wile E. Coyote at the end of an episode of bipbip.

    OVERALL OPINION

I've had 15 days and I play it every day, since I use it in its "real" function of practice amp. I tried every tube amp low power (except for the Vox, which was not released yet) some time ago when I was looking for an amp to have a big fat sound. And I fell in love this amp for clean sounds simple on microphones and plastic advantageous.

In the living room with Dano put on a nice stand next to it, it's almost design and it's not even moan madame! (Home, not even imagine trying to do the same with your POV 'Microcube and your POV' strato jim harley)

Well, worry not have one? What you waiting for?

A small edit of August 30, 2009: I plugged my Jazz Bass on this amp a little in disbelief and surprise, surprise: it sounds! It's low "medium" but it's so fuzzy crunch at the least attack a little irritated at high volume, not blow it, excellent!!

    Have still not a worry??

A small edit of December 31, 2009: I plugged my epiphone baritone above and this is the best baritone sound I ever heard out of a small amp no effect! No doubt the smallness of the HP gum the somewhat muddy sound of humbuckers and what fate has to sustain three hours (that's the guitar) and a sound so rich and full one would think that there is a reverb to ... Nope.

Good, but really, why do you not have one?? Frankly, what, 100 euros is the price of a multi-effect crap!!

And now I've had five months. We will marry in January <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" />

    SOUNDS

For me the only real use I see out of this thing is if I wanted some mild overdrive or basically a clean small box Fender amp for recording. The cosmetics of this amp are very cool and nostalgic, but that is where I leave it. The amp takes pedals really well and being a tube about for the price it is makes the sound from your wallet a lot more pleasing.

This amp takes guitar and effects really well. It does sound small when you play in since the speaker is only 6inches. The amp only has one control knob and that is volume. It has two inputs for high and low. You can get some dirt on your tone if you have it full blast and at 5 watts it's not going to be that loud.

    OVERALL OPINION

I like this amp for recording. At new they come in at around $170 which is a cool price for a great sounding tube amp. I would recommend this to anyone needing a small tone for practicing or recording. It is a great buy for the money and will serve anyone quite well.

Good to know, very very hard to crunch the beast! With simple, almost impossible task, with double, you really send it! Knob was 12 and still, it's still shy. ... Even the SG rowed on this one! There's the explosion and big ceramic gets there before the switch ...
9 / 10 because even very simple and ideal for doing what it was designed, namely repeat at home, little buddy see beef between small gig in a bar in a pinch.

    SOUNDS

there's only sound, it is clear, it is beautiful and with a small OD is downright great!
Bluesy at will, he viciously slap with Dano pro, but his favorite guitar is the Riviera.
Sound warm, velvety, light chorus between the two and that is happiness.
For a more bold, I plug an OD between the guitar and the amp and it rolls.

Config favorite when I'm on the go, the fender, the junior and the ancient home of UE 300 Ibanez. The clear sound of the fender just raised a slight chorus (CS9) and that the fact bluntly ... for more fishing, j'enclenche the TS9 and there, it severely burnt fat!
For the solos, the CP9 and j'enclenche zou, just the boost needed to grow the OD as it should.

Of course, this has nothing modern, minimalist and ultra is the grain that comes out is very vintage, so for those seeking a modern sound, or full-grain effect or different, it is surely not the most suitable amp.

In addition, its small HP's still pretty limited, pushed to its limits, it tends to vibrate slightly. On mine as soon as I go over three quarters (already strong in the apartment ..).
    8 / 10 deserved

    OVERALL OPINION

Voila, super amp flat, simple, well built, well-focused, beautiful sounds, agreeing rather well the OD and other chorus, ideal for work at home, or walk this lightweight.
Before I carried a 30W lamp to go play with some mates and weight issue, it is day and night ...!
So, yes, very happy with this little creature, he accompanied me for almost two years, nothing special to report, it works like new.
Both entrances are well proven in practice a day or a mate, the amp is loose, and neither one nor two, connects to the champion and full ahead!
Ok, the sound was not sublime, but in his dining room was better than passable.
and with hindsight, I would resume without a doubt.
    A good 8 / 10 overall.
