Yes with HP alnico blue, it gets a very warm sound, great for blues. With Tubescreamer, saturation is bold and beautiful.

Start a Stevie Ray Vaughan, a strat Japanese "kokkomann ', an ES-335 style guitar. I use a vox wah with true bypass and a Tubescreamer.

We just get fat sounds with Tubescreamer is very "clean" without effect. The wah sounds Exel.

With this amp just sounds good.
