This is about as basic as you can get. This is a combo amp that has two control knobs one for the tone and one for the volume and that is it. You can crank this amp up and not disturb the neighbors since its only 15 watts. It has a classic Fender tone that is sweet and chimy.

SOUNDS

This is a simple design and simple sound. You won't get a ton of versatility with this amp so you need to like how basic it sounds. I like the way the amp sounds with a fender telecaster the best. It has a nice grind for vintage style distortion used in pop and low rock songs. It takes pedals very well so don't be afraid to slap a nice Big Muff in front of it.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these amps come in at around $399 which isn't bad for a sweet sounding tube amp. It is a good amp for practice as well. You won't be able to gig with this amp unless you can get the sound guy to really bring up your tone in the mix. You'll need to mic this amp up in just about every situation.

I would recommend this amp to anyone who doesn't want to break the bank on a nice sounding tube Fender amp. The can go anywhere since they are very light in weight. The sit nice in jam session with the sweet vintage tone. Great recording amps as well.
