Every lamp, 50 watts (forget the number, just plug and take a slap, it grows stronger)
a superb quality combo that weighs heavy as any good tube combo of this size and power
I already have a mesa boogie for 17 years, so I can compare with the DC5 duotone is a very good combo. Well I say tie.
Amp handmade cured in every detail
Complete settings for two channels, no surplus of basic, but good
UTILIZATION
Very easy to find the sound, one branch and it sounds live
Even better than my mesa boogie, which is quite complicated to find the sound .... but it sounds great!
Manual very clear, but hey a little unnecessary given the simplicity of the beast
SOUNDS
big sound, impressive .... This is madness, nothing to do with the mesa DC5, but close.
Clearly as we can saturate almost any pick as his "basic", especially playing with the colors of his guitar. The amp gives the variations of sounds the guitar immediately ...
OVERALL OPINION
Well I did that for 24 hours, it's not for me, but my 12 year old daughter who plays on my mesa from the beginning and therefore it was his first amp
I vouslais her a sounding tube amp, 2 channels with independent settings, and if possible something that makes sense, but in its budget of 600 €
Here in this destocking H & K duotone combo was the case given its price in nine still shopping.
Before my choice was the Bugera Blackstar or HT40 ... I prefer to buy an amp lamp nine, must pamper these trips in BB, so on occasion if you do not know the history of the amp, there are risk
Brief is the duotone, saw the reviews on the net, and after trying it at the store, I decided it was really the amp I was looking for my daughter
What I prefer its simplicity, its ideal to learn, play everything anywhere.
What I regret, no on / off reverb footswitch, reverb, as compared to what my mesa .....
In short a beautiful toy!
