Kustom Amplification has unveiled a new line-up of tube guitar amplifiers bearing the Defender name.
The new Defender V100 and V50 amplifiers, designed by amplifier guru James Brown, feature EL34 power tubes that provide “defined lows, rich aggressive mids and a sweet top end that cuts through the mix but is never harsh, ” according to the manufacturer.
The amps are partnered with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and a cabinet crafted with Birch plywood.
The V50 and V100 are two-channel amplifier designs, each with its own Master Volume control.
Both models provide an Accutronics spring reverb unit while the V100 adds vintage Tremolo and Vibrato effects.
Pricing
MAP pricing for the V50 and V100, respectively, is $699.99 and $899.99.
