What kind of amplification (lamp, transistor ,...)?
It is a correction ... So it's all a lamp with tube rectification (diode type) that provides opportunities for distortion absolutely incredible. To be a big fan of the amp and practice several lamps for many years, this amp and my prfr.
Complete with 4 channels each, all rglages: Gain, EQ, Presence, Volume, Reverb. For each channel, a selector can choose between three types of basic sound (clean, fat, tweed, brit, raw, vintage or modern, depending on the channel). A Master Volume controls the output level and volume gnral SOLO allows a suprieur level for each channel in single player .... very practical when navigating a crystal-clear clean the large distortion mtal through the crunch intermdiaire. The SOLO can be activated via the footswitch for each channel, such as reverb, fx loop and 4 channels.
What is the power dlivre?
50 or 100 W, on the back of the amp allows you to assign a switch for each channel if you want the 50 or 100 W. One can also select for each channel is the face tracking, the type diod ... and it gnial.
What connection?
All the connectors you would expect from an all-tube amp, except MIX output as suggested by the Mark IV ... and is the only point I give ngatif.
At cabinet level, one can imagine and all the manual shows the possible configurations.
What rglages the effects? ...
All are based SETTING THE + reverb adjustable for each channel.
It is also possible to replace the tubes with EL34 6L6 (do not forget to switch the selector on the back) to get the characters identifiable IMMEDIATE Marshall. However, as I play a JCM 800 dj, I use that 6L6.
UTILIZATION
The configuration is it simple?

I recommend starting with rglages factory on offer in the manual and tweak a little. Once we have the sound you want, using the presence of knob is rexplorer. I play this amp with several guitars: a PRS custom 24, a Std SG, a Start, an imitation of Ibanez Les Paul ...
My pedalboard consists of a Dunlop Wah, a BOSS DD3 delay, a phaser Electro-Harmonix ... all my distos are no longer active with this amp (ADA MP1 Classic, BigMuff, V-Twin).
What kind of sound you get and with what rglages ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?
These range from the crystal-clear clean and fat distortion mtal passing each other is natural to the extent that the amp has a tural identity and that this is not 'formulation digital amp like some English.
What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
I love all the sounds ... as long as the sound is prcis ... It is the one aspect that impressed me when I tried it for the first time. This amp is most accurate in the sounds that dlivre ... I can not say my Marshall (but also its charm).
However, since the 92-93, I was looking for the killer's DISTO: pais, purring, biting and aggressive, for power chord riffs mtal in killing .... Marshall does not do me totally given Soldano Mesa Boogie came close to me offered his Rectifier. Attention, the legendary Mark IV is much more bluesy ....
