    UTILIZATION

Complete configuration. You can not ask for much more.
The question is there is there no too?
The settings are the mesa that is, we must spend time.
Each intervention on a knob changes the sound, surprisingly.
The EQ should be handled with tact. Alter the low treble and vice versa.

    It gets a good sound?
Clearly yes. Easily ... yes, now the sound you want you will take time.
The big advantage is the range of adjustment. the drawback, it is far from a VOX AC30 with 3 buttons that run behind.

At first provide a little more time on the amp on the guitar.

    SOUNDS

I play in a group of compo pop rock and I wished for a wide range of sounds.
The four channels make it easy. you have to go wider on the rack preamp with presets (this is what I finally do).

I played a PRS Custom 24, the cleans are majestic, the effective crunches and outright demonic powerchords.

As for solos, I was not happy with my sound, but again I did not have enough lingered on the set.

    OVERALL OPINION

I used 4 months and then switch to a different config.
I liked this amp comprehensive, well finished with a big sound.

However the weight is worthy of a 2 body more than a combo. small shrimp refrain ... Thank you all the same to the wheels really valuable.

I tried a variety of amp, Marshall JCM2000 TSL 100W 2 Body, Fender Pro Tube Series, Vox AC30, Orange Rockverb, Brunetti, ENGL, Genz Benz (has nothing to do) and some others ...

I like his personal mesa is typed, it sounds, ca respects the sound of scratching. in short, everything to please me.

Engl is too flashy for me and the others are less versatile.
Value, it's expensive, it is very expensive but I think it's an amp that is kept (yes I know that has not been my case).

All I can say is that the scratch to buy the rest of my ass every time that the branch ...!!!

Everything is said in the previous opinion

    UTILIZATION

The configuration is quite complex with many parameters and options, but we get immediately the sound.

    SOUNDS

It is perfect for my style (hard-rock-punk-blues). I play Gibson (Les Paul Custom Florentine, Firebird, Lucille) and Fender (Stratocaster model Rory Gallagher). Super clean and crunch sounds. The lead is very MESA - sublime. I love it.

    OVERALL OPINION

I bought this shortly after he tried everything in combo from 50 to 100 W while lamp. This is the most versatile. The price is very high but it is an amp for life.

    UTILIZATION

    - The configuration is it simple?
And that is not only chose this amp. Left to pay the price as buying an amp that I would not go round in 2 hours. And then there is the APRS tab MESA knob with ultra-sensitive and interdpendant.

It will not be the maximum for the manual in English!

    SOUNDS

    - Is it your style of music?
I play everything from clean to saturated all styles: blues, pop, rock, hard rock and some metal. Frankly ila cracks in all styles. The lcean are superb nothing to do with the dual recto. The cleans are those of the lonestar. The CH2 can get a good crunch to the bluesy distos AC / DC! With a little reverb it gets quickly out of the 70's riff! The CH3 can go to the big metal distortion with a grain less fat than CH4 I think. It is also less sharp. I used to rock songs or style for a Joan Jett Finally CH4 make happy all the way metals bearded ogre! It dismantles all in its path, ca whistles, it's sharp but heavy. One of the best metal distortion I've heard.

    - With what (s) guitar (s) / low (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I played with a custom exca Vigier, a Fender American Deluxe and ending for with my guitar made by luthier do. I would put this day reception dernire if I find things wrong! Otherwise I would be a branch Rocktron Multivalve buttocks. The loop is of good quality and reactive.

    - What kind of sound you get and with what rglages ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?
As mentioned above, all records are easily covered with a lot of talent!

    - What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
Nothing is throw on this amp. The mode of CH1 & CH2 Fat is good but it is true that I use less because I do not see their usefulness. They are in Excellent clean rhythm but it's pretty rare for me so this kind of plan.

    Frankly 10/10!

    OVERALL OPINION

    - How long have you use it?
It'll be 3 months! Before j'tait a Laboga Mr Hector

    - What is the particular feature you like best and least?
    Most
    - Sound!
    - Versatility
    - The possibility of infinite voicing
    - The possibility of routing and control of the amp
    - The quality of manufacture
    - The full pdalier

    The least
    - The APRS plop I purchased the amp when switchage channel, ashamed for this range! I did however not anymore.
    - The monster needs a guitar to sound excelente, it is capricious.
    - Weight ...

    - Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
All that the silent march in the same range: Diezel, Bogner, VHT, ENGL, and Egnater RIVERA. None had so many possibilties that the Roadster and versatility as research. This is the holy grail of guitar amplification!

    - How do you report qualitprix?
It's expensive even trs expensive ... the box I could not help but wonder if the good c'tait RULING. Finally I do not regratte and I can not find the flight saw the price possibilté. It is in the middle, not too expensive or a great deal.

    - With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...

What kind of amplification (lamp, transistor ,...)?
It is a correction ... So it's all a lamp with tube rectification (diode type) that provides opportunities for distortion absolutely incredible. To be a big fan of the amp and practice several lamps for many years, this amp and my prfr.

A Master Volume controls the output level and volume gnral SOLO allows a suprieur level for each channel in single player .... very practical when navigating a crystal-clear clean the large distortion mtal through the crunch intermdiaire. The SOLO can be activated via the footswitch for each channel, such as reverb, fx loop and 4 channels.

    What is the power dlivre?
50 or 100 W, on the back of the amp allows you to assign a switch for each channel if you want the 50 or 100 W. One can also select for each channel is the face tracking, the type diod ... and it gnial.

    What connection?
All the connectors you would expect from an all-tube amp, except MIX output as suggested by the Mark IV ... and is the only point I give ngatif.
At cabinet level, one can imagine and all the manual shows the possible configurations.

    What rglages the effects? ...
All are based SETTING THE + reverb adjustable for each channel.
It is also possible to replace the tubes with EL34 6L6 (do not forget to switch the selector on the back) to get the characters identifiable IMMEDIATE Marshall. However, as I play a JCM 800 dj, I use that 6L6.

    UTILIZATION

    The configuration is it simple?
Yes the setup is simple and accessible. However, the many possibilities that we ask spends time ....
I recommend starting with rglages factory on offer in the manual and tweak a little. Once we have the sound you want, using the presence of knob is rexplorer. As with other MesaBoogie, the presence knob is ultra "modifier ".... it also allows to find the right balance between low and rising mediums depending on the brightness research ...

Do you get a good sound easy?
Yes .... rglages the plants on offer in the manual are good trs Features and ...

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
It is in English, so accessible ... Once we have understood the functioning and the influence of rglages is the range and we forget ...

    SOUNDS

Is it your style of music?
    It should all styles ...

With what (s) guitar (s) / low (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play this amp with several guitars: a PRS custom 24, a Std SG, a Start, an imitation of Ibanez Les Paul ...
My pedalboard consists of a Dunlop Wah, a BOSS DD3 delay, a phaser Electro-Harmonix ... all my distos are no longer active with this amp (ADA MP1 Classic, BigMuff, V-Twin).

What kind of sound you get and with what rglages ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?
These range from the crystal-clear clean and fat distortion mtal passing each other is natural to the extent that the amp has a tural identity and that this is not 'formulation digital amp like some English.

What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
I love all the sounds ... as long as the sound is prcis ... It is the one aspect that impressed me when I tried it for the first time. This amp is most accurate in the sounds that dlivre ... I can not say my Marshall (but also its charm).
However, since the 92-93, I was looking for the killer's DISTO: pais, purring, biting and aggressive, for power chord riffs mtal in killing .... Marshall does not do me totally given Soldano Mesa Boogie came close to me offered his Rectifier. Attention, the legendary Mark IV is much more bluesy ....

    OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?
    1 year

What is the particular feature you like best and least?
+ is the audio and 4 channel totally diffrence.
the - this may be the weight ... despite the wheels

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
I try all the lights that come into my amps under the nose ...

    How do you report qualitprix?
Boogie is expensive ... but the sound is fantastic ... in terms of qualitprix is excellent if we Whereas the sound that is sought is priceless :-)
Exprience with, you will do again this choice? ...
    Yes and I recommend it

    SOUNDS

I love the clean tones of this amp but this amp lives on channel four. THe modern switch on channel four is very fun to play around with. Plug in a Gibson Les Paul or another humbucking style pickup guitar and you'll be rocking pretty good. You couldn't pull me away from this amp. I never got to try a Strat with this or another single coil guitar but I really didn't need to to. I was sold immediately just with the clean channel itself.

    OVERALL OPINION

At new these amps come in at around $2300, which isn't a bad price for the performance that this amp offers. The footswitch allows you to turn the effects lop on and off which is real nice. So nothing comes between your guitar and amp when playing on the fly for a gig.

I would recommend this amp to any Mesa fan who loves the sound of a Recto but wants some more features and four channels. It would be good for an engineer to have this on hand in a studio because of the tonal versatility that is has.

We must spend some time playing with all the options. The sound palette is very wide and it takes some time to find happiness - but then it really is bliss!
