So it's a tube amp, 3 12AX7 and 4 EL84
Power of 30W, but 30W AC lamp is sufficient in almost all cases
Connections:
In guitar, loop in and out, footswitch, and external speaker 16 ohms
Effect rverb has a rather well-spring, 3-band equa rather ffice for the clean channel a one volume knob and no gain, so if you want the crunch should not have neighbors!
For the channel knob to a saturated pr (gain) knob and a post (the output volume).
A ca we add a knob for rverb, a button to change channel and a boost
UTILIZATION
The config is simple, you just do not put the gaff in the footswich external speaker output and vice versa.
The right sound, it is found, pretty quickly. the manual I have not even opened ...
Now I want to say before speaking of the sound of this amp (as usual) I made lots of modif dessu:
Chang the lamp as follows:
V1: EI 12AX7
V2: 12AX7 EH (no one has the touch)
V3: Sovtek 12AX7 LPS
Lamps amplification: 4 JJ / Tesla EL84
Chang HP blue marvel of origien mdiocre rather a modern G12H30.
Chang over the HP that connect to the amplifier section (the young and blue) to a much larger section.
Chang's 4 foot 4 foot plastic rubber (cash mieu shocks, so after a RPET lamps with boiling protected mieu ca ...), the two front "higher" than behind a meileur inclination towards the ears.
I still make a manip of this forum which can eliminate the vibration of the lamps, because they vibrate hlas, with wool long way.
6 10 with no changes!
SOUNDS
Yes to the rock, see punk, grunge ect is perfect.
When changing the lamps and the HP is really an amp that double or even triple that in sound quality!!
5 again without change with 10!
OVERALL OPINION
For a month and a half
I like its sound, but for that to change many things, so we must add 150 to the price of departure.
The ratio Q / P is good but not exceptional.
I have a JCM 900 4501 and an Epiphone Valve Junior head. For other style.
Yes I would do this choice because I had OCCAZ is in perfect state, and with the changes made ca me the price of nine, but necessarily much better now!
In the coming months I think it add a 1X12 cabinet "with a Celestion Blue in it. Blue/G12H30 The alliance should really be top.
