UTILIZATION

The config is simple in a large volume ft EQ per channel (+ gain for the side distortion which is rather reassuring ^ ^).

SOUNDS

I play mostly metal, can clean a lot of possibilities, the personal is always switched on bright but after that it depends a lot on your guitar, without the bright is a little soft ..
For the distortion: the beginning I liked it (past the 158 has a rage 15W 50W lamps necessarily ...) but I found it lacked a bit of potato and accuracy ..
I buy a Boss metal-core (very good by the way ...) and no problem, the amp responded well, his precise, dynamic ..
But then I noticed the amp and not the pedal, the distortion of origin is average, at least it does not suit me.

Resonance for the button, I find that when it is switched on the sound becomes too rough ..
[edit2]: This button is not the resonance that makes the distortion rough but when you put the low knob above 1 / 3!
Selector for the class A / AB I do not think there have a real change of power but just! Tried a louder volume (I play only a town house so good ^ ^)!

All that to say that by adding a distortion pedal you have a beautiful clean and a nice distortion to match worthy of the higher-end amps for a total price of that of a randall rg50!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for Christmas this year, since I love distortion pedal all on this amp! I had already tried in the store but he had less convinced that now because I played there for some months and not know something in the settings gd ^ ^.
The quality / price seems right for an all-tube amp entry level compared to line 6, randall ...
With the experience I would do that choice again!

Edit: I forgot to mention the footswitch, a disaster ... it does not control the boost on the clean channel, no switch on / off the reverb (in contrast to that of Randall), it is not even provided with the manufacture and seems a bit mean! So I lower the note is 9!
