I redeemed even two!

Tube amp 5 X 12AX7 preamp section and 2 X 6L6 GC in the end.
J I opened the beast to see the assembly that n is not the point to point like the old Marshall or Fender. No integrated circuit problematic supply of the future.
The support 6L6 are mounted on the chassis (good) but the media 12AX7 on the printed circuit (bad point), however good.
Mounting healthy. Resistance Adjustable current polar (bias for Americanized) easy to find and adjust.
Note in passing: the quiescent current was set to mine a little warm. The technical service brand CALLS -54 to - 60 Volt. It was a -49 V. It works, c is powerful but little out of breath quickly tubes. I have set the oscilloscope to - 55 volts.
For the preamp section, I have replaced the 12AX7 phase shifter (driver's final) by a 12AT7 sorted with symmetrical characteristics between each triode.
The speakers seem average, but deserve to be tested and pushed. Test to predict a cabinet with known characteristics (412 or 212 celestion JBL).

UTILIZATION

Could not be more simple.

SOUNDS

Beautiful crystal clear sound. Settings tones lack of depth (reduced range).
The overdrive sound is nice, suitable for Rock or Blues (not recommended to metal).
Good reverb with Accutronics three spring element, large model.

OVERALL OPINION

However, a bit expensive equipment quality.
Mounting healthy, robust, simple, tow in all conditions as a twin reverb or a Marshall head of the seventies (which is not the case with modern equipment).

I play above all (or almost), great funk, rock, bossa.
To think of a good metal pedal, the crunch of the amp is very good but is really
a crunch.

The principle of this amp, and it is better to know before: transparency.

It is a highly sensitive receiver to your stuff. Much more than all other lamps that I tested. It is not typed, the sound you make is really a function of the set you use. Do not get caught. No sounds Fender, Mesa, Marshall and others.
If you want a particular sound, your sound, this amp will be perfect.
