UTILIZATION

The setup is super simple plug and play. The manual I did not open it easily obtien good sound by changing March 2 things I mention below

SOUNDS

It has convien my style from blues to hard rock. I found the sound too boxy and compressed it say that its not breathe below therefore change lamps and HP and a new amp that does not have to be ashamed in front the other warm clear sound is terrible I can make a cruncher 12pm on a cruch I will usqua the hard rock distortion well (but I'm not talking about the stock amp) I use a fender strat a fender jaguar kurt cobain signing telecaster and he really respects the sound of my instruments. I hate it?? Mode 3W sound I really do not like the lack of frit ...

I use it for 2 years may close. I try harley benton GA5 also good but I prefer the VHT. Super simple, no need to book.

SOUNDS

We get a good clear sound, but you have to push the volume a bit cruncher.
Perfect with my strat or my Univox hollowbody for a more jazzy or 60's.
The woofer 50 watts is a lot.
Á spring reverb missing, but frankly it's been much noise as some brands sold amps for 15 watt 500 Euros.

OVERALL OPINION

Mainly in the studio and in my apartment.
With battery, volume 4 á enough ... and it is 6 watts.

The finish is tough and it is nickel, very fender pro junior compared to eg.

My only concern that I had bought to play with me, but you really have to push the volume and sound crunchy lá neighbors are not happy. I need to find a house

I just recorded an album with this amp and after having little use á near all major brands, marshall, fender, vox ... I can say that this amp sounds really good.
I love the finish that does not knock compared to brands!

Amp 12AX7 / 6V6

6W/2W: 6W the position is really very powerful for home use, unfortunately the position 2W provides a sound so good.

The build quality is impressive.
Another plus: the pedal comes with boost.

The config is simple: two pots: no need of manual

the sound is in my opinion better position 6W, I have to use it with an external cab placed in another room because it sends a lot.

Perfect for my use because it delivers all types of sound, light to bold.
It fully respects the sound of my guitar (strat / Lindy Fralin blues, TV / fender noiseless, Epiphone dot / Classic 57)

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent:
I use it for 9 months.
this is my first tube amp. Prior to recording, I used an emulator or plugin amp and my guitars lost much of their personality.

Since purchasing the amp, I replaced the original lamps and I use a cab home with a HP Weber 10 "alnico and there is outright happiness!

OVERALL OPINION

Tried in a Special VHT 6 deeply changed.
The opinion is mixed, with the original bias resistor, the sound is small and cramped ama, logically, the quiescent current of an EL84 in this circuit is very low to very top draw power, dynamics or serious we are entitled to expect.
However, I got excellent results with one of my amendments provided for the use of 6L6 with a bias ideal: a cathode resistance of 250 ohms, which sticks very well with an EL84 in these tensions.
On the other hand, a majority of amps based 6V6 operate with a supply voltage much higher than of the Special 6, and for once completely incompatible with the use of an EL84.
Mistrust, my opinion is that summary is an indispensable gadget to tinker, allowing one or two strings to get another sound / grain / gain without having to drill / mount a second support for EL84 etc., but for the average user (that's nothing pejorative eh) which does not reach into his amplifier, it is likely to be a disappointment.

Small single-channel amplifier 6W. One volume knob, a "tone" Push-Pull to activate the gain stage and two input jacks.

We do aa very good construction bill. Electronics is minimalist but effective. The gear is pretty well aesthetically speaking, and he exudes a certain confidence, a quality production that can be found in more expensive combos.

UTILIZATION

- Setup could not be more simple: you plug and turning the tone knob. His plays almost alone!

- Manuel succinct. Not need more. The only thing to understand about this amp is the difference between the entries "Hi" and "Lo".

- The substantial advantage of this amp is its switch "Low Power" (2w) and "Hi Power (6w). The Low Power can really play in an apartment (in his clear, cest to say without activating the boost ) without killing its neighbors.

- I intended use him a little special. In fact, I play metal band with a drummer that beats hard enough. My goal was to find a low-power amplifier in order to push hard.

- Of course, I use a distortion pedal (Engl Tube Toner, which is more than a preamp pedal distortion). I connected a Schecter C1 Hellraiser EMG rise. I also have a 2x12 cab mounted V30 and Greenback, but I could not try the couple VHT/2x12.

- Well, in this configuration, I have an excellent sound. I use the clear sound of the amp when I want to play in the clear, and distortion of my pedals to send ENGL puree. The amp in 10/10, the sound is very defined and used to play with a drummer who types. The only limit is on the HP 10 "that's hard to follow at this power level. Hence my idea of adding a 2x12 cab in ...



OVERALL OPINION

Used for 2 weeks. A test rehearsal. For the price is more than convincing. Amp works very well in "bedroom" and know this powerful show when to send.

I will update this review once I tried plugging in a cab. But it can only be better!

Price: 138 € for our friends across the Rhine, delivery by UPS. What happiness for that price. At worst, it may take a little amp tweaking!
