British all-tube amp with an EL34 in the power stage (I guess...).
20 watts in Plexi mode, 18 watts in JTM45 mode and convenient power break function to switch to 5-watt output power!
Simple connections: four inputs (separate low and high inputs per channel). Two speaker outputs, impedance selector (4 or 8 Ohms). No FX loop.
Simple settings: volume and tone. Just plug and play!
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use.
Connect your guitar in one of the four inputs, turn the volume control, adjust the tone knob and it sounds already!
No user's manual because I bought it secondhand....
SOUNDS

SOUNDS
I play mainly 70's rock and this amp is wonderful!
I play it with a Les Paul Standard, a Telecaster or a Danelectro. Each guitar sounds better in a different amp input because all guitars have very different characters.
The very high output level is enough to play live on stage. When I play with a band I use an OD808 to get a crunch sound without getting deaf and the sound is amazing. I could use the 5-watt setting for that but the sound is darker and it doesn't cut through the mix... But this function is convenient when I play at home.
With a Les Paul you can barely get clean sounds... It starts to crunch really fast. On the contrary, I get a very nice clean sound with my Danelectro.
As a summary, this amp is a rock'n'roll machine. It also works very good with effect pedals. The response is superb and very dynamic regardless of the guitar you use!
I give it a 10 only because 11 isn't possible. It's exactly the sound I've been looking for five years.
OVERALL OPINION
I've owned it for three months and I wouldn't change it for any other amp. It's a must-have... Even better than a Marshall! A friend tested the 2061X and found its sound less tasty than the 18/20.
I like the sound and simplicity of this amp, you just have to plug and start playing! Wow!
I bought it secondhand at a good price considering the amp's quality.
I don't think it will ever get broken (point-to-point hand soldered) but if that happens I will buy an identical one.
Check it out!
