Published on 11/19/13 at 13:15Amp originally fitted with 4 x 5881, I did change to support 4 x EL34 "Mulard".
Amp 100W, 50W in swtichable (triode: loses power but also the characteristic)
2 foot switchable channels.
Channel A: clean -> crunch
Channel B: crunch -> overdrive
Loop insertion effect balance with -10 / +4 dB
UTILIZATION
2 amps easy to use switchable channels
SOUNDS
Suitable for Blues, Rock and even Metal.
OVERALL OPINION
Used since 1998
What I like: Channel A cranked overdrive with a good front.
I also like: changes made to the channel B (diode bridge split) which gives a closer rendering JCM 800 punch.
