My opinion is somewhat special because I speak here of a JCM 900 4100, then 100W, 50W amended. I use a Gibson SG with a microphone mounted in angus young easel.

It is mounted with EL34 Mullard in V1 preamp in a Golden Dragon 12AX7.

I did dozens of tests m'engistrant lamps for many realize and Chinese lamps sorted result is really what gives it its full potential.

To see the detailed characteristics with other opinions.

Everything is: loop with its setting, reverb, 2canaux ... it's all good.

But it is a must splittable 50/25W, ca ca does too.

UTILIZATION

For use, it sounds like that, any con. Not at all. You still have to know him well and I'm in my third year of discovery.

It has just been Retube and settings change the behavior too. The sound is more than improved short ... it's great a new amp every two years. A lamp is not a transo there in the consumable, which evolves. And who languished too ... think y. .. It can be found rotten if the lamps are dead ...

If have do not grow quite as well, because we do not say it enough it is a lamp to be pushed ...

In short, it's actually not that simple ... But I put 10 because it's what makes the charm of a lamp.

SOUNDS

For sound, it is in line with Marshall's pretty versatile in all but it's frankly more oriented blues / rock / hard rock.

But fear not, I can tell you that the charges the big fat heavy too!

Channel 1:

The clean sound is warm, you feel on what it has to do. When we lower the gain at its half and then you push the volume, ca compresses nicely and it's frissosn guaranteed! lol The sound is bright, round by round it, sweet.

If you push the grain was then a crunch that leaves a little to the overdirve but it is short. For more saturation, see Channel 2.
I love that sound, I stick a GE7 in the loop for more medium and it's really clean.

It's very oriented as the old Master and consors ... Perfect for AC / DC and others. He put an overdrive pedal is a good alternative, this can become your unique sound without the need for channel two without problem. You just have to push a little volume and play with that of the guitar to switch between clear and distortion.

The channel 2:

Immediately knock over the ca. Gain background and is already in Maiden that's gone! Od pedal and hi James Hetfield!

This channel is very versatile as the last. At first I was often with great gain and I did nothing but lead. Finally, lowering the gain, not only we will seek more power and thus colored lamp, but also allows for AC sound clearer, making cleaner if we look more than a big Od disto. and for solo hop a overdirve more and go!

The reverbs are nice, I like that used on occasion but I am not very expert ...

50/25W switch:

The strength of this amp is the switch and the volume pot of presence, for his work on the couple should use.

50W in the sound is more powerful more incisive. I use it in repeats when I need big sound. The grain is more ressere, more violent in bulk. The acute quickly become invasive if you put too much presence, but by repeating toujorus I leave a bit and I cut the treble, it helps out more in the mix. Effective.

In 25 it is softer and therefore more mild satisfaction. You lose a little sound projection and that is also the presence knob intervenes, I cut my home, to put the sound back. Except on Channel 1 Od that sound better with. It can be quieter for neighbors with bass hitting less. So here we just push a little more treble to make up the loss.

My game is based more on saturax and light blues sounds, the 25W position suits me perfectly.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall this is a super versatile amp with good sound. However, it asks to be helped to complete a sound equa nickel. It lacks a bit of medium I think.

But it is heavy rock without problem, it accepts all the effects pedals without complaint, solid, effective. it's really good stuff for cheap today as underestimated.

It is a very good choice with respect to the false pretense that the current dire need of that extra bit of experience and history ... And above all very good versatility.
