Matamp First Lady

Note that the amplifier does not require rebiassage after lamp change, which is very pleasant and nice!
There is also switchable spring reverb to toe for me, but all are not.
Frequency settings are passive and quite efficient, it allows the sound to work well!
The head has two knobs to adjust bass and treble entered.
That is to say that the more we push the knob Voice, the greater the bass and overdrive in this frequency, so a fat, and you turn the volume pot Attack, we have a more sharp.
Amp handmade, I mean REALLY handmade, not only assembled by hand like other brands that play on the ambiguity I find (Mesa not instance).

The head is rather heavy, due to its surdimentinné Transformers, but it weighs even when no superlead period. It is very convenient to carry, which is very nice!
I previously owned a Laney vh100, a Marshall Vintage Modern w 50, I am very familiar with the 5150, the Thunderverb of Orange, superlead marshall.

The sound is less steep than the Thunderverb, more dynamic, it is closer to 30 but the ad with a higher gain and much more beautiful in my opinion.
I play stoner / rock / metal and this amp suits me perfectly!

OVERALL OPINION

The sound of this amp you'll understand is simply gorgeous, the huge opportunity in my opinion.
Only default reverb to my taste too sweet, too extreme.
