«  Really great »

It was really designed and redesigned to be convenient to 200%, in fact, merely by its size, one of the heads of the smaller market for that power (it is the forearm with the hand width) .

Nice little gadget, the handle can be retracted into the head. A good quality cover marrow is supplied with the machine, very handy too. The footswitch has a good length of cable (unlike my Blackstar HT-5 or the footswitch does not even touch the ground on a 4x12 ...). In addition, the machine is very light compared to my Fireball's just happiness.

The air box frankly robust m'enfin I'm going to take good care you never know

The effects loop is well equipped with bypass switch on the back of the case.

UTILIZATION

Power level is very important for this type of head, I have a Blackstar HT-5, but I found myself often in concert with the volume knob at full speed. I have not used the correct mini concert but I do not worry. I tried the switch 10 W / 25 W and the difference is huge to me There's really strong enough to send with it without putting up to 100%.

Flaw: no output 16 ohms, only 8 or 4, I have a little con in 16 ohm 1x10 cabinet I would have used this head

SOUNDS

Its level, nothing to say is nothing less than the Rectifier, type ultra metal spot but with style and precision. The difference between a Dual and the Mini is frankly not a lot on that side and we can barely conceive of it as possible

The EQ is effective and gain knobs and presence give satisfaction to even the nags of us.

For cons, I remain somewhat skeptical about the switch disto Vintage / Modern which gives a quite similar, the big difference being that the Modern at an output level of about 20% additional, more dynamic and a good boost of treble but the grain is relatively similar.

OVERALL OPINION

Tested yesterday for 2 hours with me right on my ENGL 4x12 cabinet.

It's really great material, all handmade in California, I'm glad to be expensive for something that has not been done by Chinese.
