The Silverback Rob Chapman Signature is a two-channel guitar amp head and uses four 12AX7, one 12AT7 and two EL34 valves, the latter can be replaced by 6L6 tubes. It provides 50W of power but you can decrease it to 15W thanks to the Hi/Standby/Low Output switch.
The front panel of the Silverback feature a three-band EQ and a spring reverb control, all common to both channels, as well as separate Gain and Master knobs for each channel. The Overdrive channel also includes a Boost switch and the Clean Gain can be pull for a Crunch option.
On the back, you’ll find Rob Chapman’s signature, but also an effect loop with a wet/dry mix control, two 8 Ohms and one 16 Ohms speaker outputs as well as Crunch and Channel Boost footswitch inputs.
A grille on the top of the amp can be easily removed if you need to access the valves and Rob Chapman designed a “Knobguard” grille that protects the front knobs and switches.
The Victory Amps Silverback Rob Chapman Signature will be released this month with a price of $2899 / 1899€. More info at www.victoryamps.com.
