The amp is in two parts: Tete a 15W lamp with two lights and two preamp amp, a mono jack input, two outputs (8 / 16 Ohm) for speaker (do not connect two speakers at the same time ..)
Available settings: Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass, Volume
A two position switch Clear Channel (Bright) and saturated (Thick)
A three position switch with standby in the Central, the top position mode 15W (pentonde) and bottom triode mode (7.5W)
A switch on / off and a red LED (control ignition of the amp)

The cabinet is equipped with a 16 Ohm input, the HP is a 1X12 celestion

UTILIZATION

The use of the amp is very simple, just connect the speaker at the head using the jack provided (do not use a guitar jack but jack HP). Make sure you connect the speaker on the Vox 16 Ohm output of the head.
Once the head connected to the cabinet, connect power to the head and check that the amp is turned off and standby. Put the receiver in position, let it heat for about ten minutes to avoid endomamger lamps (lamps play with a cold can weaken them, I have already experienced, my light turned red fire and slammed into ten seconds ..) then go to one of two modes namely pentode (15W) or triode (7.5W) (triode mode delivers less sharp, the sound is a little more crude than the pentode) .
The grain of the amp go out very easily, it is not necessary to push the amp up the sound for vox English has made the brand's excellent reputation.

SOUNDS

This amp is a very good amp so it is quite versatile but I recommend it especially for those who want a vintage sound (50 to 80 years).
I play it with:
- 1968 Fender Telecaster '
- Gibson ES 345 1969 '
- Gibson Songbird Deluxe
- Ibanez RGT6EX-IPT
- Norma Florentine
- Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty HHH 57 'Reissue
- 1976 Ibanez Custom Les Paul "HHH
- Custom Ibanez RG Series
- JS Series by Aria Pro II

I play mostly clean sound with the gain 1 / 5 and the switch / light-saturated mode thick (saturated) to give some teeth to the sound (especially with the telecaster, the sound that comes out is exactly the the Rolling Stones)
My settings are:
Vintage clear sound:
Gain 1 / 5, Thick Mode, Treble 1 / 5, Middle 4 / 5, Bass 4 / 5, volume 2 / 5, Pentode (15W)
Its saturated (Hard Rock): Gain 4 / 5, mode Thick, Trebble 2 / 5, Middle 3 / 5, Bass 2 / 5, Volume between 1 / 5 and 2 / 5
Are clear (acoustic)
Same setting as vintage but clear bright mode

You can experiment yourself your settings, the sound is very versatile but is really his home vox.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for six months, I had the opportunity to try many others but none that manages to give me the same feeling as this one.
It has an exellent biting, he can be sweet without being either marshmallow. It's like I said a lot, a exellent amp.
His biggest strength is to let the grain out without having to turn up the volume on high, you get quick vox sound without turning up the volume to maximum. In addition, its small size allows it to take him by repeating 'or in the rooms or you play without problem on this amp. I use it at home, repeating, and I have only one inconveniant: it is heavy. But compared to other amps, it is not really. I weighed several oranges (including the tiny terror and dual terror), they weigh more and handle the vox is really much better.
If one day I ended up turning pro in the music and the same pattern emerged in large format, I buy it without even trying it.
This is an amp that I recommit to all those who want to invest in a very good amp that does not take much space and can provide so much power that the amplifier triple in size. The report qualitée price is very well respected.
