I use it with an SM57 for acoustic guitars and percussion.
I have not tried live with an electric guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 days. The sound is really good. The lamp provides a little extra INTERESTED.
Until now I used the pre-amp for my behringer mixer. Well it is day and night.
