« There is plenty to do with! »
Published on 06/26/12 at 01:47This is a digital preamp. The lamp is a preamp, nothing to do with a tube guitar amppli example! It is only there to attract the public, and to the breath.
Connectors:
An input jack and XLR, as well as output.
There are several presets: guitar, vocals etc ...
UTILIZATION
We can not be simpler, you connect, and singing (or playing), not really need the manual.
SOUND QUALITY
I use it for singing, or an acoustic guitar. I have another preamp, Art in the same range, and the sound is essentially the same, but have not tried other preamps, I can not say if the sound is colored or not.
But the sound remains pretty decent.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a few months, and practicing home studio for two years, that's enough for now. Biensur, the sound must be processed upon registration to obtain a good rendering.
What I love most?
The price.
The least?
The lamp that provides only the breath.
In conclusion, if you start in a home studio, and you have a proper sound editing software, you can take quite a bit of this little amp! No need to buy a more expensive if you do not have mastered the use of plugins!
I'll skip a presonus blue tube, because it seems more reliable, and the sound is still much better. But if I had to go back, I would do without hesitation that choice!
