SM Pro Audio TC-02

It has a pramp lamp (a lamp for both channels) that intgre opto-electronic compressor per channel.
There are jacks and XLR for each input / output, and between instrument jack per channel faade.
Ngatif any point of the same: there is no lock on the XLR, so watch live!

UTILIZATION

The use could not be simpler, it's really standard. Except for the comp, there is no traditional treshold and ratio, but a knob "Compress" (graduated from 0 10), plus the attack, release and bypass.
Visualization of the compression is not on a bar graph, but one that led red when the compressor is working. It's a little bonus Drout abort, but it did.

It seems to me that the manual is in French, but is not really useful.

SOUND QUALITY

Prampli level, it seems to me quite correct.
I never had to push the gain more than half, especially since the saturation is trs "fuzz".
He brings a little heat, as well prcis.
Point ngatif: Submitted ds is a breath that pushes the gain over the first third.

The compressor, I find it a bit "soft" but plutt music. It works well, without being obvious to the cost. I find, however, trs versatile, and on instruments prfre strings.

I tested the TC02 on a guitar, a cello, double bass and vocals live, and the Human Beatbox in home studio.
On the cello, c'tait standard, silent so hot that it concealed and ample bass!
A test of the electro master really does not conclusive and does the beatbox, I have not figured out how to use it better now ...

OVERALL OPINION

He did not toffe a Universal Audio, but the price did nothing to do!

Acquired on the advice of a trs-ing good sound, I do not cost much more pramps this range, but I use it for about 4 months and I am satisfied.
I think the quality-price ratio is correct trs.

I would do without this choice hsiter!

Good setup is simple, but the compressor settings are not clear and not n'influt variment so simple sound. The manoel is in English and German

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is good, I have not used the preamps of madness but it is very correct, I have no problem breathing. I would say that the preamp is very quiet. The implementation of the compressor tends to make the darker sound. Cele but not unpleasant at all. It's even cooler, especially with static généralemenrt one of sibilants. The most difficult thing is that the compressor settings are not clear and the result is not necessarily what one expects to find ... good but of course it also compresses. In conclusion I know that uses deopuis several months and I can not do without. The sound is warm and a bit dark.

Yes, I would do this choice, especially for vocals. Javais actually bought this amp for bass and then I plugged the mic chatters and harmonica on it and I have more then remove it and I still no direct box / compressor on the bass
