I use it for three months before I had a LPD8, and there, nothing to see! (Normal at the same time saw the price dif).
Mix controllers are not my thing, especially when you 2x SL 1200MKII! No need to have more except to play with effects, samples and cue points! And there, the DDJ-SP1 is timely! But the price to its output (400 € !!) dissuaded me up is that I come across a promo (+ stand offered price drop)
In short, I take it while thinking surely bring it back! Well no! As soon unpacked and installed, it becomes essential and fits perfectly in my set! And saw the building, I understand are starting price.
I repeat that choice of course, even if I am missing the knobs for the pitcher samples of SP6 (everyone does not mix in sync), shame! This is a real black for me.
Note that it comes with Serato Video (not tested)
