technikalchaos « Simple but some default »
Published on 11/17/11 at 00:05I bought it for my little homestudio, to sound with Ableton Controller and noon. Since I moved to Seven, I have no compatibility problems. I do not use the tracks for recording microphone or instruments.
UTILIZATION
I use it with ableton. To switch to Asio, I have to install Asio4All.
APRS I have little worries latent or otherwise.
GETTING STARTED
Trs simple installation.
This sound card is simple and effective, but be aware some default:
1) To use it you must use Asio Asio4All. For the use of Ableton in asio, I have to cut any other software or a window with streaming audio on my PC.
2) Can not record sound internally on my PC. For example, if I want to record sound from a movie or a web page with a recording software (magntophone, SoundForge ...) it is not possible.
In addition, it is USB1. In USB2 it'll have been able to be more efficient.
OVERALL OPINION
I have 4 years. For starters it is not too bad and it is solid.
But even when it suffers from its problem of Asio and registration of its internal computer. What m'handicape for my work.
