« Good interface "amateur" »
Published on 02/16/12 at 12:21I wanted my interface for recording Acoustic Guitar / Vocals / Bass, which it does perfectly. I also use at MIDI with an old Yamaha Clavinova and I've had no worries.
However, I just put myself on bass and then, using a DI and / or pre-amp is necessary.
UTILIZATION
No installation problems on XP and 7, it is recognized immediately. The io / 2 comes with Cubase LE 4, which enough for me. It is then possible to record two tracks simultaneously.
There is a lag time if you listen at the same time we record (this disables Cubase). But after no problems on the recorded track.
GETTING STARTED
No worries on that side. Despite my side "novice" when buying, everything went well.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 4 years now, no problems reported. I plan to equip an analog mixer for live play, the io / 2 remain connected to the PC for s taken his fast.
The case is metal, well made, I will redeem it without hesitation!
