I chose this card to be able to register on bass.
I use it regularly with Cubase SE3 and Reason 2.5 Rewire in and there's no prob, the map follows.
Config level, I work with an Asus P5 GDI, Pentium 4 processor, 280 GB on two hard drives, 512 MB ram.Mon computer is dedicated to the zic so there's no prob, I have about 12ms of latency with my 2Apply, there's probably way to push but it works well so I still like that.
UTILIZATION
Installation level, thank you people of Edirol manual for all in English and very large simpliste.En this manual is useless and not used, must traduire.Fauuse note for the AU-25.
For installation, the USB connection simplifies things is like a device that installe.Faut just remember to disable the sound card in the original bios and after, it follows tt one ..
Configuration level, well it's simple, no y 'and that's unfortunate ..

I find the preamps too puissants.je am always forced to reboost I took in low Cubase.Mais I plug my bass in direct.L use an amplifier between my bass and the UA-25 would solve the problem (the preamp output of my amp is dead so I can not do like that ...)

At the recording, I usually read a dozen tracks with most in Reason 2.5 and all that happens in Cubase SE3 Rewire and it works in nickel
OVERALL OPINION
I, unwanted since November 2005 and overall, I am rather pleased with my achat.Pour a map of this range, it has a more than adequate (as long as you configure your PC and its software). There are a lot of options that are more attractive to that to be effective as the limit.
The Regleg the sampling rate, I wish I had more information because it works too but the manual is almost useless and inexplicit.
Basically, the UA-25 is a good card but with some surprise that we would not expect from Edirol and price level in the € 235, you pay as the brand, it's still a little expensive for my taste ..
