Hi,
am a newbie to audio recording. I would like to setup a small home studio to record my voice while singing and while playing my Yamaha Clavinova CLP-230. I will be recording individually and merge them using audacity.
I just wanted to have your recommendations / inputs before going ahead, thanks !

Hi Goble,
This will all work as a set up and the Rode NT1-A is a great Mic.

This setup is perfect for beginners! The Scarlett Solo paired with the RODE NT1-A is a classic entry-level combo for vocal and digital piano recording—clean, stable sound, and fully compatible with Audacity. The mic arm + pop filter is a must-have to reduce plosives and desk vibrations. Use a balanced cable to connect your Clavinova to the audio interface, record in a quiet corner, and start with low gain to avoid clipping. This kit is more than enough for newbies with great value for money!
