I had taken for his connection jack, headphone jack and noon. A priori good performance and reliability of M audio.
My config: 512 RAM, MSI mother Certa chipset VIA / AMD, Windows XP SP1.
UTILIZATION
The installation without too much problem, but after what a disappointment!
GETTING STARTED
The control panel hyper succinct: no adjustment of input levels, output, latency values. I need to close applications for editing audio, etc ...
Horror! : No direct monitoring, which can route the input signal directly to the output (zero latency).
Finally finally, crackles in recordings but more due to my VIA chipset config.
OVERALL OPINION
All weaknesses have been confirmed by the M-Audio technical support.
The advice he gave me: for the same price, go to firewire audiophile who just left home.
