Value For Money : Excellent
I was looking for a rather simple card with at least four inputs and the 5.1 output.
On the advice of Home-studio I opt for the latter
Personal use, runs on a laptop celeron 1GB ram, small configuration so ...
the card is plugged into a stereo system and a microphone between apex
all runs with SX 3

UTILIZATION

The installation is Droulez seemingly without problem!
There is an incompatibility with the chipset sounds Intgr: in this case the card works but can not accder the config panel of the card (very embarrassing for rgler latency)
Solution: disable the sound card intgre in the bios and windows
Then the card works perfectly (it is active in its control panel), latency seemed longer than the shows but this may be a bit of the processor used by lightweight!

GETTING STARTED

Xp drivers are stable: no crashes while using

THE BIG problem is that M AUDIO RELEASE DOES NOT SEEM TO UPDATE A DRIVER IN VISTA, and it becomes very painful! It is now over a month that the bone came out and even a version that Beta would be welcome!

Cubase SX 3, LATENCY RULES of 2ms but costs more in the order of 10ms.
the card can work in recording the number of tracks in between maximum is 4.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchase made nol 2006
I like the simplicity of Use
I like not too long update of drivers
I possde staff from other sound card Terratec EWS88MT (unstable), and a Digi002 (top) and a presonus firebox (though no more: too many disconnects but pramp top)

good price quality ratio in win xp
if I were to change I will look at the first follow-up of drivers ... without comment supplmentaire

BAD NOTE for M AUDIO!
